You’ll work on wrestling entries, clinch control, trips, and transitions to dominant positions. No Gi? No problem. Andrew’s experience ensures the techniques are sharp, practical, and effective.

Nirvana Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Liability Waiver

By signing this waiver, I acknowledge and agree to the following:

  1. Assumption of Risk
    I understand that participation in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ), Judo, and other martial arts activities involves physical contact, strenuous physical exertion, and a risk of injury, including but not limited to bruises, sprains, dislocations, fractures, and other serious bodily harm. I voluntarily assume all risks associated with participating in these activities.
  2. Release of Liability
    I hereby release, discharge, and hold harmless Nirvana Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, its instructors, staff, and affiliates from any and all claims, demands, actions, or causes of action arising out of or in connection with my participation in training or activities at the facility. This release applies to any injury, death, or damage to personal property that may occur, regardless of whether it is caused by negligence or otherwise.
  3. Medical Fitness
    I certify that I am in good health and physically able to participate in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Judo, and related activities. I have consulted a physician, if necessary, and have no medical conditions that would prevent my participation.
  4. Responsibility for Personal Belongings
    I understand that Nirvana Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is not responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged personal belongings.
  5. Compliance with Rules and Guidelines
    I agree to follow all rules, regulations, and instructions provided by the instructors and staff of Nirvana Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. I understand that failure to comply may result in the termination of my membership or participation privileges without refund.
  6. Consent to Medical Treatment
    In the event of an emergency, I authorize the staff of Nirvana Brazilian Jiu Jitsu to obtain medical treatment for me. I agree to assume financial responsibility for any medical expenses incurred.
  7. Media Release
    I grant permission for Nirvana Brazilian Jiu Jitsu to use any photographs, videos, or other media taken of me during training or events for promotional purposes, including on social media, websites, and other marketing materials.
